If you have ever wanted a Crown Vic, here is your opportunity to get one cheap, all it needs is some TLC. This car runs strong and fast. This is the first time it has ever broken down. I just drove it here from Orlando, but the axel broke. So it would be way cheaper to replace the whole (differential) rear end. It has a 3.27 gear ratio. Broken axels are a common problem with Crown Vics P71's (so I have been told by a PD mechanic) from all the high speed pursuits and curb jumping. This car belonged to a lieutenant from Glades County Florida. Way out in the country, so it wasn't abused as much as a city car. Here is the list of repairs it needs: Rear end (differential) needs replaced-broken axel ($200 or $400 at a junk yard) Passenger side window motor needs replaced. Could use a new paint job too. You cqan't tell from about 15 feet away but it has a lot of chips and scrathches from someone scraping the Sheriffs decals off it. (Before I bought it). This is all I can think of right now because I am upset about losing my car. Check craigslist, ebay, claz, the cheapest Crown Victoria in Vegas is $4400, most are over 5k even for older crown vics. This is an amazing deal for a 2005. And you know these bad boys will run until 300K if you maintain it. This is the deal, since I am stuck here with no money to repair it. And for the record I do not want to sell it! I would like to ask for $2500 for my baby, but I might be willing to listen to offers or barters for a Motorcycle.
